Fashion Shoots tend to be very meticulously planned affairs and how can they not be?
Locations and studios need to be booked early. For non-studio shoots, permits may be required too. Looks have to be visualised and communicated. Then you have the Models, Wardrobe stylists, Make-up artists, camera and lighting equipment, accessories, props, backup equipment ... it doesn't a rocket scientist to figure out that shoots can be costly affairs where mistake can burn a huge hole in the pocket.
Yet, as the man say, to create great images, beyond what is considered to be a technically good image, there has be an element of play, of spontaneity too.
