Before she started eTradersPlace in 2005, Lydia was actually in Digital Media publication. When she finally decided to venture out on her own, it was pretty much a no-brainer to start a collectible miniature business as Lydia herself, was an avid collector.
"My interest in collecting miniatures has turned from a hobby to passion. I find joy in sharing this interest with other like-minded collectors. This business is a niche market and I believe my passion will translate to excellent products and services to my valued customers."
Yet, she is not resting on her laurels. Lydia focuses on providing quality products at the best value and this means that she has to constantly study market trends, carefully balance shipment quantities, product pricing and at the same time, carefully manage business risk.
But as the lady puts it, "Miniatures have a therapeutic effect on me as they give me a lot positive feelings and emotions. They allow my imagination to run wild. Whenever I look at them, I feel like I am being transported to a different world. I encourage everyone to try out this hobby. Who knows? You may have your own story to tell too!"
Re-ment is coming up with this set title "Re-ment Akogare Import Store" (due to release in mid April).
In this set, you can find a variety of different miniature food items that are link to a typical supermarket.
This series is somehow different from the cartoon character related theme series, that Re-ment has launched recently.
