The World’s First Rotary 3D Printer!
John Fang, co-founder of the Singaporean startup said, “Sorry, can’t give more information than this, confidential.”
MindChicClub meets up with the team to dig deeper into what is going on at their current office at Nanyang Technological University.
“Consumer 3D printers are big but can only print small objects,” John explains. “The Blacksmith Compact solves that problem, it prints the same volume but takes up only half the space on your desk!”
He added that it is inspired by a potter’s wheel that is turnable and has a printhead that oozes out plastic to the turntable to form a 3D object.
“It is the most compact 3D printer you can find on the market!”
