70% of exhibitors at the event have indicated interest to return next year. While the first attempt was meant to be a humble affair, it managed to bring in over 4,500 visitors from 53 countries. The positive response has met organizers’ expectations and is due to return next year.
Altogether, 90 international and regional brands participated in this year’s 100% Design Singapore. This included the likes of Designers Guild, Lizzo, Magis, Moroso, Patcraft, Pierre Frey, Porada, Pozzi Divani, Romo, Serdaneli Paris and VW+BS, reemphasising the quality of showcases at the inaugural 100% Design Singapore exhibition.
As one of the speakers, Mr. Matthieu Frey, Chief Representative Asia Pacific for Pierre Frey, said:
“(The atmosphere) was very creative. I was deeply impressed with the event conferences and every single speaker was fascinating. It was great to have different visions and interpretations of design. I’m truly satisfied with the first edition of 100% Design Singapore and hope to participate in the next one.”
Having lived up to its expectations for the initial launch, 100% Design Singapore will be back, bigger and better, in 2013.
