Anyone who has been to Japan would already know that taxi fares over there rank among the highest in the world.
So how about cycling instead?
But it's Japan, I hear you say. Can't read Kanji, Katagana and Hiragana? Unsure of the local cycling laws?
How about infrastructure then? Do they have cycling lanes?
Check out Tokyo by Bike, created by Byron Kidd, who has been cycling the streets of Tokyo and around Japan since 1996. In all that time on the bicycle he's learnt the odd trick, avoided the odd accident, and seen the odd (sometimes extremely odd) thing or two.
Join Byron as he offers light hearted commentry and useful information about cycling in Japan all at the same time. Check out "Break cycling laws in Japan and win a prize!" to see what I mean.
