I’m sure you’ve already listed down all the Sushi/Ramen/Sukiyaki restaurants you’re going to visit in Japan, but what are you going to eat in between meals?
This MindChic Club! exclusive series aims to help you find the perfect snack/supper as you much your way through Japan. As much as possible, these snacks will be readily available you’re the local Conbini (Convenience Store), Supermarket or even (hopefully) the Japanese supermarkets in Singapore.
Note: Some sweets are only sold during certain times of the year, so please refer to when each Sweet Bite is published to gauge when the sweet is sold.
Unfortunately, this sweet little treat is sold in packages of one. Why? Because after eating it, you’ll definitely want more. As soon as you open the package, you can smell the strawberries. There’s a nice fragrance, that lasts till the last bite.
Sandwiched between the two thin pieces of cake would be strawberry cream, with very small pieces of strawberries inside. It tastes like strawberries, but somehow, it also tastes like cream cheese to me. Personally, I love this balance of flavours. And at the bottom, there’s a thin layer of cream beneath the strawberry cream filling.
A small light treat that will leave you wanting more.
Definitely a must for strawberry lovers! More information at this link:
